Hello Lacomb Irrigation customers,

We are nearing the end of the 2026 irrigation season. I will be closing off the headgate tomorrow (9/30) evening. Depending on where you are in the district it will take from 7 hours to 12 hours for the water levels to decrease.

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO SHUT DOWN ANY PUMPS THAT ARE STILL RUNNING BEFORE DARK ON SEPTEMBER 30. By daylight on the 1st of October there should not be enough water in the ditch for anyone to irrigate.

PLEASE ALSO REMEMBER TO PULL ANY AND ALL BOARDS FROM YOUR TAKEOUTS OR DIVERSIONS STARTING 10/1.
